When the practice goes out the window
When the practice goes out the window
That is the practice
No need to lament or blame
Get down or disheartened
For now, the practice begins
Take a deep breath
Let go of expectation
And keep the window slightly ajar
To what is being thrown-out, discarded and why
What can’t be sat with in presence
What can’t be kindly given any attention
What is the pain
What is the deep Fear
Peer back in
From outside the window
Throw yourself back into the practice
As all you will ever need, is waiting there for you
