12 Strategies for Anxiety & Depression
We have all felt stressed, overwhelmed and uncertain at some time in our lives. So that means others have too....and you are not alone!It's been Gary (Hubby) & my pleasure to give back to our community and their Mental Health by sponsoring a two session Anxiety & Depression Workshop, 20 & 27th November 2017. Alongside Debra Smith, local Psychologist with years of experience and dedication to Mental Health support, we presented about how to support oneself and help others with Anxiety & Depression and shared 12 Strategies for Anxiety & Depression.We presented information about Depression - living in the Past and Anxiety - living in the Future and how those unhelpful thoughts can negatively impact our daily life. We shared tools and strategies, now available at my online site on how to live in the moment - and be More Mindful!We know Connection with others is vital for a long and healthy life, and social isolation can reduce our life span. I'm also very passionate about Connection, it being a part of my CARE Philosophy. So seeing attendees at the Workshop forming bonds and feeling included was wonderful.I couldn't have asked for a better outcome from the sessions with:95% rated excellent/very good in response to "How useful was the Workshop to help/support others?"85% rated excellent/very good in response to "How useful was the Workshop to help/support yourself personally?"
